Avid Locksmiths is a 24 Hour mobile Locksmith centrally based on the Sunshine Coast. If you're locked out of your house or apartment and need a quick response locksmith, call us now. We're usually open weekends and public holidays in addition to normal office hours (9am-5pm Monday to Friday).

Our quoted prices include all opening fees and labour costs so you don't have to worry about getting ripped off with a 'low' call out fee turning into extra charges. If you're in doubt we will send you a quote for your peace of mind.
We don't resort to drilling and damaging your door when we arrive like some other "locksmiths". 15 + years of experience means we have a high level of skill. We can even pick open newer Lockwood anti-bump locks which have special security features designed to make it harder!

Our 24 Hour Locksmith Service is not limited to lock outs. We can repair damage from break and enters, rekey/repin locks to keep unwanted people out, and install new locks for additional security.

We also accept EFTPOS cards and there are no additional fees!
How to request an emergency 24 Hour locksmith:

2. Tell us the service you need... i.e. Locked out of house, locks rekeyed or repaired
3. Tell the locksmith your name, phone number and address including the unit number if applicable.
4. We will give you an approximate time and quote based on what is needed including all fees and GST. There's NO extra costs for opening the door on top of our original quote... That's a scam used by dodgy operators!
5. Sit back and relax! We will be there soon. Please have your identification with a valid address ready to show the locksmith as proof of residence if you're locked out.
6. Once the locksmith has unlocked and opened your door we will write an invoice and take payment on site by Cash or EFTPOS/Credit Card (No Cheques Accepted).

* Cancellation fees will be charged if you decide to cancel the service for any reason; we expect that you have checked everywhere for your keys etc. This policy is due to the high cost of advertising, travel-costs and missed oportunities when we cannot service other customers. We reserve the right to charge up to 100% of the quoted service call if you cancel without 24 hours notice. We are fair and honest, and appreciate your understanding in return.
